Semiconductor stocks: chips, equipment and memory

From chip design to manufacturing and memory. 32 symbols, each with a line on what it is.

Semiconductors are the chips inside phones, cars, servers and almost everything else that runs on electricity. This list covers the industry in four parts. Chips holds the companies that design or manufacture them, from AI processors to the analog and power chips used in cars and factories. Equipment holds the makers of the machines that pattern, etch, deposit, inspect, package and test chips. Memory and storage covers memory chips, flash memory and hard drives. Connectivity covers the switches, cables, lasers and optical parts that link chips together inside data centres. Each row says in a few words what the company does. The short version keeps a handful of the largest names, and the full version adds companies based in the US, Europe and Korea.
